LC No. 2008-478380-NA

Colleen A. O'Brien Presiding Judge Kathleen Jansen Deborah A. Servitto Judges

ORDER

The delayed application for leave to appeal is GRANTED. The time for taking further steps in this appeal runs from the date of the Clerk's certification of this order. MCR 7.205(E)(3). This appeal is limited to the issues raised in the application and supporting brief. MCR 7.205(E)(4).

By order entered on August 16, 2023, the Court granted the motion by Court Reporter Bromeaica McBride (CSR 7279) to extend the time to file the transcripts, which were ordered on May 8, 2023, to August 30, 2023. On August 29, 2023, Reporter Jacquetta Smith (CSMR 6472) filed a notice of filing four volumes of the transcript, but several volumes remain outstanding. On the Court's own motion, the time for filing the remaining transcripts is EXTENDED to October 6, 2023. If a copy of the notice of filing the transcript has not been filed with the Clerk's Office of the Court of Appeals by October 9, 2023, Reporter McBride may be subject to disciplinary action under MCR 7.210(B)(3)(f), which could include costs, a show cause order, or an order barring Reporter McBride from further proceedings until all of the reporter's overdue transcripts ordered for purposes of appeal are filed.

A copy of this order shall be transmitted to Third Judicial Circuit Court Supervisor of Court Reporting Services Family-Juvenile Division Cheryl White and Court Reporter Bromeaica McBride.

Presiding Judge Jansen, J., would deny the application for leave to appeal.
