DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeal from an order of the Family Court, Kings County, dated June 24, 2020. Motion by the attorney for the children to dismiss the appeal on the ground that it has been rendered academic.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is held in abeyance and referred to the panel of Justices hearing the appeal for determination upon the argument or submission thereof; and it is further, ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the time of the attorney for the children and the petitioner-respondent to serve and file their respective briefs is extended, and on or before December 22, 2021, the attorney for the children and the petitioner-respondent shall serve and file their respective briefs via NYSCEF, if applicable, or, if NYSCEF is not mandated, serve their respective briefs and upload a digital copy of their respective briefs, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website.
