PETITION FOR WARRANT OR SUMMONS FOR OFFENDER UNDER SUPERVISION

The Honorable Stanley A. Bastian, Chief U.S. District Judge

PETITIONING THE COURT

To incorporate the below violation and issue warrant.

On October 26, 2023, an officer with the U.S. Probation Office reviewed the judgment and conditions with the offender. Mr. Martinez signed the judgement acknowledging an understanding of these conditions.

The probation officer believes that the offender has violated the following condition(s) of supervision:

Violation Number

Nature of Noncompliance

2

Standard Condition # 3: You must not knowingly leave the federal judicial district where you are authorized to reside without first getting permission from the court or the probation officer. Supporting Evidence: It is alleged that Mr. Martinez violated the above-stated condition on or about December 19, 2024, by traveling outside of the Eastern District of Washington without prior approval from the Court or U.S. Probation. On December 19, 2024, this officer attempted to contact Mr. Martinez by phone. The call immediately gave a tone and message indicating that Mr. Martinez' phone was disconnected. This officer proceeded to attempt contact with Mr. Martinez at his residence. However, no one was present at the residence and a business card was left. Later this date Mr. Martinez' girlfriend called this officer and reported that Mr. Martinez was at “the coast” with family and that his phone was not working.

Mr. Martinez did not request approval from the undersigned officer for any travel outside of the district. His whereabouts are currently unknown

The U.S. Probation Office respectfully recommends the Court to incorporate the violation(s) contained in this petition in future proceedings with the violation(s) previously reported to the Court, and that the Court issue a warrant.

I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct.

Executed on: 12/20/2024

Nicolas Olson U.S. Probation Officer
