PETITION FOR WARRANT OR SUMMONS FOR OFFENDER UNDER SUPERVISION

PETITIONING THE COURT

To issue a warrant.

On December 4, 2024, John Martinez appeared for sentencing. During his sentencing hearing, the Court advised of the expectation that Mr. Martinez release to a residential re-entry center (RRC) or an approved clean and sober residence.

The probation officer believes that the offender has violated the following condition(s) of supervision:

Standard Condition # 1 : You must report to the probation office in the federal judicial district where you are authorized to reside within 72 hours of release from imprisonment, unless the probation officer tells you to report to a different probation office or within a different time frame. Supporting Evidence : It is alleged that John Martinez violated the terms of his supervised release by failing to report within 72 hours of his release. On December 13, 2024, John Martinez was released from the Spokane County Jail at approximately 3 p.m. Mr. Martinez has made no efforts to report or contact the United States Probation Office. His whereabout are currently unknown.

Standard Condition # 5 : You must live at a place approved by the probation officer. If you plan to change where you live or anything about your living arrangements (such as the people you live with), you must notify the probation officer at least 10 days before the change. If notifying the probation officer in advance is not possible due to unanticipated circumstances, you must notify the probation officer within 72 hours of becoming aware of a change or expected change. Supporting Evidence : It is alleged that John Martinez violated the terms of his supervised release by failing report a change is residence, on or about December 13, 2024, or since. On December 13, 2024, John Martinez was released from the Spokane County Jail at approximately 3 p.m. Mr. Martinez has made no efforts to report or contact the United States Probation Office. His whereabout are currently unknown.

The U.S. Probation Office respectfully recommends the Court issue a warrant requiring the offender to appear to answer to the allegation(s) contained in this petition.
