In the Interest of L.S. and O.S., Children

314th District Court of Harris County Trial court case number: 2023-00153J

ORDER

Terry Adams Judge.

On July 12, 2024, this Court abated the above-captioned appeal and ordered the trial court to appoint appellate counsel for appellant T.S. ("Mother"). The trial court appointed appellate counsel on July 16, 2024.

Mother's appointed appellate counsel filed a motion on August 14, 2024, for an extension of time to file Mother's appellate brief. Mother's counsel then filed her brief on August 23, 2024.

We lift the abatement and order the case reinstated on the active docket. Mother's August 14, 2024 motion for extension of time is granted, and her appellate brief is deemed timely filed on the date of this order.

The brief of appellee, the Department of Family and Protective Services, is due 20 days from the date of this order.

It is so ORDERED.
