IN THE INTEREST OF L.L.B., a child

From the County Court at Law, Medina County, Texas Trial Court No. 20-03-7912-CCL Honorable Mark Cashion, Judge Presiding.

ORDER

Liza A. Rodriguez, Justice

On December 18, 2023, we ordered appellant to show cause why this appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution because appellant had failed to file her brief or a motion for extension of time. In response, appellant filed a motion for leave in which she explains that her failure to file her brief was due to mistake or accident and was not the result of conscious indifference. Furthermore, appellant requests a sixty-day extension of time to file her brief and appendix containing a written transcript of the court recorder's electronic record. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.4 (“Appendix for Cases Electronically Recorded”). The motion is GRANTED. Appellant's brief and appendix are due on or before February 2, 2024.
