IN THE INTEREST OF L.J.C., a Child
From the 166th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2023PA00691 Honorable Laura Salinas, Judge Presiding
ORDER
PER CURIAM
The reporter's record was originally due to be filed on October 11, 2024. On October 9, 2024, Debra Jimenez, a court reporter responsible for preparing the record, filed a notification of late record, requesting until October 18, 2024, to file the reporter's record. We granted the reporter's request in part and ordered the reporter's record due on October 17, 2024. By October 22, 2024, the reporter's record had not been filed, and we ordered the reporter to file the record by October 28, 2024. On October 29, 2024, the court reporter filed a second notification of late record, requesting until November 8, 2024, to file the reporter's record. We granted the reporter's second request, and ordered the court reporter to filed the reporter's record in this court on or before November 8, 2024. Further, we reminded the reporter that this is an accelerated appeal of an order terminating the appellant's parental rights. Consequently, each extension of the deadline to file the reporter's record must not exceed 10 days, see Tex. R. App. P. 35.3(c); cumulative extensions must not exceed 30 days, absent extraordinary circumstances, see id. R. 28.4(b)(2); and this appeal must be disposed of by this court within 180 days of the date the notice of appeal was filed, see Tex. R. Jud. Admin. 6.2. Given these time constraints, we stated in our order that "no further requests for extension of time will be allowed absent extraordinary circumstances."
To date, the reporter's record has not been filed, and Debra Jimenez has not filed a third notification of late record. Therefore, we ORDER Debra Jimenez to file the portion of the reporter's record for which she is responsible by November 27, 2024. No requests for extension of time to file the reporter's record will be granted. If the record is not filed by such date, this court will issue an order directing Debra Jimenez to appear and show cause why she should not be held in civil or criminal contempt or otherwise sanctioned for failing to file the record.
The chief deputy clerk of this court is directed to serve a copy of this order on Debra Jimenez by regular United States mail and by certified mail, return receipt required. The chief deputy clerk is also directed to provide the trial court with a copy of this order.
It is so ORDERED.
