In the MATTER OF Albert A. LANCELLOTTI, An Attorney At Law (Attorney No. 00617994)


ORDER The Disciplinary Review Board having filed with the Court its decision in DRB 20-248, concluding on the record certified to the Board pursuant to Rule 1:20-4(f)(default by respondent), that Albert A. Lancellotti of Newark, who was admitted to the bar of this State in 1994, and who has been suspended from the practice of law since January 15, 2020, should be censured for violating RPC 1.15(d) (failure to comply with recordkeeping requirements), RPC 5.5(a)(l) (practicing law while ineligible), and RPC 8.1(b) (failure to cooperate with disciplinary authorities),

And the Disciplinary Review Board having determined that respondent (1) immediately comply with all the Office of Attorney Ethic's pending recordkeeping and audit directives; and (2) complete, within ninety days of the date of the Court's disciplinary Order in this matter, two recordkeeping courses and a law office management course approved by the Office of Attorney Ethics;

And good cause appearing;

It is ORDERED that Albert A. Lancellotti is hereby censured; and it is further

ORDERED that respondent (1) comply forthwith with all pending recordkeeping and audit directives of the Office of Attorney Ethics, and (2) complete, within ninety days after the filing date of this Order or such later date as the Director of the Office of Attorney Ethics may approve, two courses in attorney recordkeeping and a course in law office management approved by the Office of Attorney Ethics; and it is further

ORDERED that Albert A. Lancellotti remain temporarily suspended from the practice of law pursuant to the Order of the Court filed January 15, 2020; and it is further

ORDERED that the entire record of this matter be made a permanent part of respondent's file as an attorney at law of this State; and it is further

ORDERED that respondent reimburse the Disciplinary Oversight Committee for appropriate administrative costs and actual expenses incurred in the prosecution of this matter, as provided in Rule 1:20-17.
