Respondent's “Motion for Clarification of June 10, 2020, Order to Show Cause,” filed July 14, 2020, is denied. (See People v. Duvall (1995) 9 Cal.4th 464, 478-480 [following an order to show cause, respondent's return and petitioner's traverse serve the purpose of “narrowing the facts and issues to those that are truly in dispute”]; In re Hochberg (1970) 2 Cal.3d 870, 875-876, fn. 4 [“when an appellate court issues an order to show cause or writ returnable before a lower court . . . the appellate court's preliminary determination that the petitioner has stated grounds which if proved would entitle [the petitioner] to habeas corpus relief is not equivalent to a final appellate court decision of questions of law in favor of petitioner under the doctrine of law of the case”].)
