In the MATTER OF Julia Anna LA VAN, an Attorney at Law (Attorney No. 034652006)


ORDER

The Disciplinary Review Board having filed with the Court its decision in DRB 20-187, concluding that Julia Anna La Van of Moorestown, who was admitted to the bar of this State in 2006, should be censured for violating RPC 1.7(a) (engaging in a conflict of interest);

And the Disciplinary Review Board having further determined that respondent should be required to complete two ethics courses approved by the Office of Attorney Ethics within ninety days of the Court's Order and that respondent should not receive Rule 1:42-l CLE credit for her attendance at either course;

And good cause appearing;

It is ORDERED that Julia Anna La Van is hereby censured; and it is further

ORDERED that respondent shall complete two courses in professional responsibility approved by the Office of Attorney Ethics within ninety days after the filing date of this Order and submit proof of completion thereof to the Office of Attorney Ethics; and it is further

ORDERED that the professional responsibility courses taken by respondent pursuant to this Order shall not be credited toward completion of respondent's CLE requirements pursuant to Rule 1:42-1; and it is further ORDERED that the entire record of this matter be made a permanent part of respondent's file as an attorney at law of this State; and it is further

ORDERED that respondent reimburse the Disciplinary Oversight Committee for appropriate administrative costs and actual expenses incurred in the prosecution of this matter, as provided in Rule 1:20-17.
