IN THE INTEREST OF L. C. G., a Child

From the 285th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2014-CI-13767 Honorable Cathleen M. Stryker, Judge Presiding

ORDER

PATRICIA O. ALVAREZ, JUSTICE

In Appellant's notice of appeal, he states that he "desires to appeal and seeks to alter the judgment or other appealable order rendered on August 21, 2017."

We order Appellant to show cause in writing within ten days of the date of this order why he believes this court has jurisdiction to consider an appeal of an order that was rendered over six years ago. See Tex. R. App. P. 26.1, 42.3(a); Verburgt v. Dorner, 959 S.W.2d 615, 617 (Tex. 1997) ("[O]nce the period for granting a motion for extension of time under Rule [26.3] has passed, a party can no longer invoke the appellate court's jurisdiction.").

All other appellate deadlines are suspended pending further order of this court.

If Appellant fails to respond as ordered, this appeal will be dismissed without further notice. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.3(c).
