Summary of Misconduct:

Mr. Kurth, who was licensed in 1977, was suspended for three years. He misappropriated funds that he had deposited in his client trust account in connection with five different client matters. The suspension is effective on April 11, 2006.


Order of the Court:

The petition by the Administrator of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission to impose discipline on consent pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 762(b) is allowed, and respondent Richard Fredrick Kurth is suspended from the practice of law for three years.

Suspension effective April 11, 2006.

Respondent Richard Fredrick Kurth shall reimburse the Disciplinary Fund for any Client Protection payments arising from his conduct prior to the termination of the period of suspension.

Garman, J., took no part.
