In the MATTER OF Azadeh Sophia KOKABI An Attorney at Law Admitted Pro Hac Vice
ORDER The Disciplinary Review Board having filed with the Court its decision in DRB 22-010, concluding that as a matter of reciprocal discipline pursuant to Rule 1:20-14(a), Azadeh Sophia Kokabi of Medina, Washington, who was admitted to practice pro hac vice in this State from July 1, 2013 through April 1, 2014, and again from August 26, 2015 through August 28, 2017, should be permanently barred from future plenary or pro hac vice admission to the bar of New Jersey based on discipline imposed in the Commonwealth of Virginia for unethical conduct that in New Jersey constitutes violations of the principles of In re Siegel, 133 N.J. 162, 627 A.2d 156 (1993) (knowing misappropriation of law firm funds) and RPC 8.4(c) (engaging in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation);
And good cause appearing;
It is ORDERED that Azadeh Sophia Kokabi is hereby permanently barred from future plenary or pro hac vice admission in this State; and it is further ORDERED that respondent reimburse the Disciplinary Oversight Committee for appropriate administrative costs and actual expenses incurred in the prosecution of this matter, as provided in Rule 1:20-17.
