IN RE Venkateswar Rao KODATI

Original Mandamus Proceeding

This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 2015-CI-02059, styled In the Interest of M.P.K. and P.S.K., Children, pending in the 73rd Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, the Honorable Renée Yanta presiding.

CORRECTED ORDER

Sitting: Marialyn Barnard, Justice Patricia O. Alvarez, Justice Irene Rios, Justice

On April 30, 2018, relator filed a petition for writ of mandamus. On May 17, 2018, the respondent filed an advisory with this court stating it had vacated the order complained of in the petition. Relator subsequently filed an emergency motion to vacate the new order or, alternatively, allow relator to file a supplemental petition. After considering the petition and the trial court's advisory, this court concludes relator's petition for writ of mandamus is moot. Accordingly, the petition for writ of mandamus is DISMISSED AS MOOT. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.8(a). Relator's emergency motion is DENIED.

The court's opinion will issue at a later date.

It is so ORDERED on May 18, 2018.

Irene Rios, Justice
