NOTICE TO CLAIMANTS
WILLIAM L. CAMPBELL, JR. UNITED STATES DISTRICT JUDGE
Notice is given that the above Petitioners have filed a Complaint, pursuant to 46 U.S.C. § 30501 et. seq., for exoneration from or limitation of liability for all claims of damages or injuries arising out of or occurring as a result of an incident involving a 1989 Sumerset motor vessel with Hull ID Number SZJ01588F889 (the “Vessel”) on or about June 12, 2022, while on the navigable waters of the United States on the Cumberland River in the vicinity of Old Hickory, Tennessee.
All persons having claims against Petitioners, Christopher Klassen and Jane Klassen and/or the Vessel in relation to the June 12, 2022, incident must file their respective claims with the Clerk of this Court and serve on the attorneys for the Petitioners copies thereof on or before June 30, 2023. Claims shall be filed with the Clerk of this Court, at the United States District Court, Middle District of Tennessee, and serve copies on or mail copies to the Petitioners' attorneys, Eric Thiel of Banker Lopez Gassier P.A., 501 E. Kennedy Blvd., Suite 1700, Tampa, Florida, and Jay R. McLemore and Donald R. Ferguson, 109 International Drive, Suite 240, Franklin, Tennessee 37067, on or before June 30, 2023, or suffer default. Personal attendance is not required.
Any claimant desiring to contest the right of the Petitioners to exoneration from liability or the right of Petitioners to limitation of liability must also file an answer to said Complaint as required by the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Supplemental Rule F, and must serve on or mail to Petitioners' attorney a copy thereof, unless claimant's claim, as set forth hereinabove, has included an answer.
