ORDER

The motion for immediate consideration is GRANTED. The motion to waive the requirements of MCR 7.209 is GRANTED. The motion to stay proceedings is DENIED.

The delayed application for leave to appeal is GRANTED. The time for taking further steps in this appeal runs from the date of the Clerk's certification of this order. MCR 7.205(E)(3). This appeal is limited to the issues raised in the application and supporting brief. MCR 7.205(E)(4).

On the Court's own motion pursuant to MCR 7.216(A)(7), within 14 days of the Clerk's certification of this order, Court Reporter Margot A. Games (CER 9561), and/or any other reporter who may be responsible for transcribing the complete transcripts in Hillsdale Circuit Court Docket No. 19-000672-NA, shall provide to appellant Melissa Opel-Burns an estimate of the cost for transcribing the complete transcripts, subtracting the amounts, if any, already paid by appellant. The cost estimates must be emailed to appellant at deenagriffin@hotmail.com. A copy of the cost estimates shall additionally be filed in the Court of Appeals.

Further, it is ordered that, within 14 days of the receipt of the cost estimates, appellant Melissa Opel-Burns must arrange with Reporter Games and/or any other responsible court reporter for payment in full for the complete transcripts in Hillsdale Circuit Court Docket No. 19-000672-NA. Further, the reporter must promptly accept all payment attempts by or on behalf of appellant and thereafter timely file a stenographer's certificate for the ordered transcripts.

The failure of reporter to comply with this order may result in the issuance of an order for the reporter to show cause for failing to comply with the terms of this order. The failure of appellant to comply with this order may result in the dismissal of her appeal for failing to cure a filing defect.

The Clerk of this Court is directed to provide a copy of this order to the Honorable Sarah Lisznyai, Chief Judge of the Hillsdale Circuit Court, the Honorable Anna Marie Anzalone, Lenawee Chief Judge of the Lenawee Circuit Court, and the Honorable Catherine A. Sala, Lenawee Probate Judge, who sat for both Courts.

This order has immediate effect. MCR 7.215(F)(2).
