The application for delayed appeal is GRANTED. This appeal is limited to the question whether the family division of the Kent Circuit Court lacked jurisdiction over KAE because the child could not be "found within the county" as intended by MCL 712A.2(b). See MCR 3.926(A); MCR 3.903(C)(9); MCR 3.903(C)(3); In re Christie, Minors, __ Mich App__, __;__N.W.2d __ (2021) [Docket No. 355940].

This case is REMANDED to the family division of the Kent Circuit Court for the appointment of appellate counsel to represent appellants on appeal. The trial court shall appoint appellate counsel within 14 days of the Clerk's certification of this order. The trial court shall send a copy of the order appointment to the Clerk of this Court within 7 days of the decision. The time for taking further steps in this appeal runs from the date of the filing of the order of appointment with this Court.

This Court retains jurisdiction.

Shapiro, J., would deny the delayed appeal.
