IN THE MATTER OF JURY SELECTION AND SERVICE ACT OF 1968, (Selecting a pool to appear for jury service on October 21, 2021)


GENRAL ORDER

FRANCES TYDINGCO-GATEWOOD Chief Judge District Court of Guam

WHEREAS, there are currently in the Qualified Jury Wheel, Two-Thousand Five-Hundred Thirty (2, 530) prospective jurors as required by the Jury Selection and Service Act of 1968, as Amended, and, WHEREAS, it is necessary to create a new Pool to appear for jury service or October 21, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. The term of service for the Pool shall not exceed the length of saic trial or a period of sixty days, whichever is longer, unless extended by Court.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that on Friday, October 15, 2021, the Clerk of Court or her designated deputy clerks shall withdraw, by a purely randomized method, One-Hundred (100) names from the Qualified Jury Wheel who will be summoned for jury service on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 8:00 a.m.

A copy of this order shall be posted on the Court's bulletin board.
