Opinion

NOT TO BE PUBLISHED

Superior Court County of Ventura, No. 2007024394, Manuel J. Covarrubias, Judge.

California Appellate Project, under appointment by the Court of Appeal, Jonathan B. Steiner, Executive Director, and Suzan E. Hier, Staff Attorney, for Defendant and Appellant.

No appearance for Plaintiff and Respondent.

GILBERT, P.J.

Jonathan M. appeals orders of the juvenile court sustaining a subsequent petition charging him with misdemeanor resisting a police officer and misdemeanor trespass of a dwelling, continuing his wardship and probation, and placing him in juvenile justice facilities for a period not to exceed 180 days. (Pen. Code, §§ 148, subd. (a)(1), 602.5, subd. (a).)

Between March 3, 2004, and April 5, 2007, the prosecutor filed five petitions pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code section 602, alleging that Jonathan M. had resisted police officers, committed vandalism and grand theft, and received stolen property. On June 29, 2007, the prosecutor filed a subsequent petition alleging that Jonathan M. committed misdemeanor resisting a police officer, misdemeanor trespass of a dwelling, and felony unlawful possession of a firearm. Jonathan M. admitted the misdemeanor allegations and the juvenile court dismissed the felony firearm allegation. The juvenile court continued Jonathan M. as a ward of the court, continued his probation with additional terms and conditions, and committed him to the custody of the probation officer for placement in juvenile justice facilities not to exceed 180 days.

We appointed counsel to represent Jonathan M. in this appeal. After counsel's examination of the record, she filed an opening brief raising no issues.

On February 7, 2008, we advised Jonathan M. that he had 30 days within which to personally submit any contentions or issues that he wished to raise on appeal. We have received no response from him.

We have reviewed the entire record and are satisfied that Jonathan M.'s attorney has fully complied with her responsibilities and that no arguable issue exists. (People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436, 444.)

The orders are affirmed.

We concur: YEGAN, J., PERREN, J.
