Opinion

B164804.

10-23-2003

In re JOE B., a Person Coming Under the Juvenile Court Law. THE PEOPLE, Plaintiff and Respondent, v. JOE B., Defendant and Appellant.

Tia Fisher, Temporary Judge. (Pursuant to Cal. Const., art. VI, § 21.) Affirmed. Dee A. Hayashi, under appointment by the Court of Appeal, for Defendant and Appellant. No appearance for Plaintiff and Respondent.

Joe B. (appellant) challenges an order continuing wardship after a finding he committed second degree robbery. (Welf. & Inst. Code, § 602; Pen. Code, § 211.) The juvenile court ordered him placed in the camp community placement program and calculated the maximum theoretical period of confinement to be five years. He filed a timely notice of appeal.

We appointed counsel to represent him on appeal.

After examination of the record, counsel filed an "Opening Brief" in which no issues were raised. On August 15, 2003, we advised appellant that he had 30 days within which to personally submit any contentions or issues that he wished us to consider.

No response has been received to date.

We have examined the entire record and are satisfied that appellants attorney has fully complied with the responsibilities of counsel and that no arguable issues exist. (Smith v. Robbins (2000) 528 U.S. 259, 277-284, People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436, 441.)

The order under review is affirmed.

We concur: PERLUSS, P. J., and JOHNSON, J.
