No. 04-17-00756-CV
12-22-2017
IN THE INTEREST OF J.M.A.-H., ET AL
From the 131st Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2017-PA-00165
Honorable Charles E. Montemayor, Judge Presiding
ORDER
Appellant seeks to appeal an order terminating parental rights signed on November 8, 2017. The notice of appeal was filed on November 16, 2017, and thus the reporter's record was originally due on November 27, 2017. On November 30, 2017, court reporter Elva Chapa filed a Notification of Late Record stating that she would file the reporter's record no later than December 15, 2017. We granted the extension and noted that further requests for extension of time would be disfavored. See TEX. R. JUD. ADMIN. 6.2. On December 15, 2017, Ms. Elva Chapa filed a second Notification of Late Record stating the record would be completed by December 29, 2017.
The second Notification of Late Record is NOTED. It is ORDERED that court reporter Elva Chapa file the reporter's record in this court no later than December 29, 2017. See TEX. R. APP. P. 28.4(b); 35.3(c). If the reporter's record is not received by such date, an order may issue directing Elva Chapa to appear and show cause why she should not be held in contempt for failing to file the record. The clerk of this court is instructed to cause a copy of this order to be served on Elva Chapa by certified mail, return receipt requested, with delivery restricted to addressee only, or to give other personal notice of this order with proof of delivery.
