IN THE INTEREST OF J.V.O. AND J.R.O.
From the 166th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2015-CI-02697
Honorable Antonia Arteaga, Judge Presiding
ORDER
Jose O. filed a notice of appeal from a judgment signed by the trial court on June 2, 2020. Appellant's docketing statement states he is requesting the trial court clerk and court reporters to prepare and file a record in this appeal and that he did not filed a statement of inability to pay costs in the trial court. Appellant filed a Statement of Inability to Afford Payment of Court Costs in this court on July 20. We order appellant may proceed without the payment of the filing fees charged by this court. SeeTEX. R. APP. P. 20.1(a),(c).
We further order the clerk of this court to send a copy of appellant's Statement of Inability to Afford Payment of Court Costs and of this order on the parties, the trial court clerk, the court reporter, and the trial court.
If a party, the clerk, or the court reporter seek to require appellant to pay the costs to prepare the appellate record, we order they must file a motion in the trial court by August 10, 2020 that complies with Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 145(f). A copy of the motion must be filed with this court. If a Rule 145(f) motion is timely filed, we order the trial court to immediately set a hearing, giving notice as required by Rule 145(f)(5), and to make written findings, which must be filed in this court not later than three days after the hearing.
