Opinion by: Luz Elena D. Chapa, Justice

This is an appeal from an order terminating appellant's parental rights. Appellant's court-appointed appellate counsel has filed a brief under Anders v. California , 386 U.S. 738, 87 S.Ct. 1396, 18 L.Ed.2d 493 (1967). Although counsel has not filed a motion to withdraw, this court no longer requires counsel to file a motion to withdraw with an Anders brief as a matter of course in parental termination appeals. See In re P.M. , 520 S.W.3d 24 (Tex. 2016). Having independently reviewed the record, we agree with counsel's determination that the appeal is wholly frivolous. We therefore affirm the trial court's order of termination.
