IN RE CHIKE IGWE, Relator

Original Proceeding from the 303rd Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. DF-12-06612

ORDER

Before Justices Bridges, Fillmore, and Schenck

The Court requests that real party in interest, Onyinyechi Igwe, file a response, if any, to Chike Igwe's Petition for Writ of Mandamus on or before August 28, 2017. The Court would appreciate the response including citation to any legal authority real party in interest believes to support disqualification of counsel as a remedy for the ethical violations identified by the trial court in its findings of fact and conclusions of law.

We further ORDER the parties to file reports with this Court on or before August 28, 2017 as to the status of this case and indicate whether they believe this Court needs to stay any additional proceedings in the trial court pending a disposition of the request for mandamus.
