Trial court: County Court at Law of Austin County, Texas, Trial court case number: 2017L-6966

ORDER

APRIL L. FARRIS

On May 19, 2022, appellant filed a brief in this parental-rights termination case. This brief identified the minor child who is the subject of this appeal by an alias. See Tex. R. App. P. 9.8(b)(1)(A). The brief did not, however, refer to the child's parents and other family members by aliases. Pursuant to Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 9.8(b)(1)(B), we strike appellant's brief, and order appellant to file a brief that also identifies the child's parents and other family members by aliases to protect the child's identity. Tex.R.App.P. 9.8(b)(1)(B) ("[T]he court may order that a minor's parent or other family member be identified only by an alias if necessary to protect a minor's identity.").

Appellant's amended brief is due in this Court on June 3, 2022. Appellee's brief, if any, is due 20 days after the filing of appellant's amended brief.

It is so ORDERED.
