Original Mandamus Proceeding

Before Stevens, C.J., van Cleef and Rambin, JJ.

ORDER

On October 10, 2024, the trial court entered an order granting Real Party in Interest's petition to take Relator's deposition pursuant to Rule 202 of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. See Tex. R. Civ. P. 202. On October 24, 2024, Relator filed a motion for emergency temporary relief asking this Court to stay his Rule 202 deposition pending the Court's decision on his petition for a writ of mandamus.

Relator's deposition is scheduled to take place on October 25, 2024.

Relator filed a petition for a writ of mandamus on October 23, 2024.

After reviewing Relator's motion for emergency temporary relief, this Court is of the opinion that the temporary relief should be granted. Therefore, Relator's October 25, 2024, deposition is hereby stayed pending this Court's ruling on Relator's petition for a writ of mandamus.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
