MOTION DECISION

Present - Hon. Rolando T. Acosta, Presiding Justice, Jeffrey K. Oing Anil C. Singh Lizbeth González Julio Rodriguez III, Justices.

Petitioner, Samuel Howie, having applied for admission as an attorney and counselor-at-law in the State of New York, And the Committee on Character and Fitness (Veronica Guerrero, of counsel) having transmitted to the Court (1) the Subcommittee report, dated September 14, 2021, finding, after evidentiary hearing, that petitioner possesses the requisite character and fitness for admission to the New York State Bar, and recommending approval of petitioner's application; (2) the September 22, 2021 tally sheets of the Committee confirming the Subcommittee's recommendation by majority vote, and (3) a Certificate Recommending Admission, dated September 23, 2021, Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the application, and due deliberation having been had thereon, it is unanimously, Ordered that the Certificate Recommending Admission is accepted and petitioner's application for admission to practice as an attorney and counselor-at-law in the State of New York is granted.
