Summary of Misconduct:

Mr. Holman, who was licensed in 1983, was suspended for three years and until further order of Court. He neglected seven client matters, failed to consult with clients prior to voluntarily dismissing a lawsuit, and failed to cooperate with the disciplinary investigation. He was previously disciplined for professional misconduct.


Order of the Court:

The motion by the Administrator of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission to approve and confirm the report and recommendation of the Hearing Board is allowed, and respondent James William Holman is suspended from the practice of law for three years and until further order of the Court.
