IN RE HOCHHEIM PRAIRIE CASUALTY INSURANCE COMPANY
Original Proceeding
1st District Court of Jasper County, Texas
Trial Cause No. 37,178
ORDER
Relator, Hochheim Prairie Casualty Insurance Company, filed a petition for writ of mandamus. Relator is a defendant in Trial Cause Number 37,178, Wilson Claim Service, LLC v. Carrie Robin Lawrence-Allen, et al. Relator seeks a writ compelling the Honorable Craig Mixson, Judge of the 1st District Court, to vacate his order of April 29, 2019, compelling discovery responses from relator. We note our jurisdiction over this matter and the parties. See Tex. Gov't Code Ann. § 22.221 (West Supp. 2018).
Relator requests that the trial court's discovery order of April 29, 2019 be stayed as temporary relief. See Tex. R. App. P. 52.10(a). The Court finds temporary relief is necessary to prevent undue prejudice. It is ORDERED that the trial court's discovery order of April 29, 2019, in Trial Cause Number 37,178 is STAYED until our Opinion issues or until further order of this Court. See Tex. R. App. P. 52.10(b). No bond is required of the relator as a condition to any relief herein granted.
The response of the real party in interest, Wilson Claim Service, LLC, is due June 10, 2019.
MOTION FOR TEMPORARY RELIEF GRANTED.
ORDER ENTERED May 29, 2019.
