Before the Court is appellant's motion for extension of time to file his notice of appeal. We GRANT the motion and deem the notice of appeal filed March 7, 2024 timely for jurisdictional purposes.
We note appellant has filed a request for the reporter's record of the April 12, 2023 proceeding as well as certain post-trial documents. The clerk's record includes the requested post-trial documents. Accordingly, we GRANT the request TO THE EXTENT THAT we ORDER Kathy Bounds, Official Court Reporter for the 417th Judicial District Court, to file the record no later than June 10, 2024. Because the clerk's record reflects appellant filed a statement of inability to afford court costs, the record shall be filed without payment of costs. See Tex. R. Civ. P. 145.
We DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to send a copy of this order to Ms. Bounds and the parties.
