IN THE INTEREST OF H.H. AND H.L.H.

On Appeal from the 75th District Court

Liberty County, Texas

Trial Cause No. CV1003676

MEMORANDUM OPINION

On March 22, 2012, the Clerk of this Court notified the parties that the appeal would be dismissed unless the Court received a signed notice of appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 9.1. The appellant did not respond to the Court's notice. On April 19, 2012, the Clerk notified the parties that the appeal would be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction unless grounds were shown for continuing the appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.3. The appellant did not respond to this second notice. There being no signed notice of appeal that invokes our appellate jurisdiction, and there being no satisfactory explanation either for the appellant's failure to file a signed notice of appeal, or for the appellant's failure to respond to a notice from the Clerk requiring a response or other action within a specified time, the appeal is dismissed. See Tex. R. App. P. 9.1; Tex. R. App. P. 42.3.

APPEAL DISMISSED.

DAVID GAULTNEY

Justice
Before Gaultney, Kreger, and Horton, JJ.
