Original Proceeding

ORDER GRANTING STAY AND REQUESTING A RESPONSE

Relator's Petition for Writ of Mandamus and Motion for Emergency Stay were filed on October 5, 2017.

Relator's Motion for Emergency Stay is granted in part. Trial of this cause is stayed. This order does not prevent the trial court from reconsidering its discovery order or other matters, but only prevents the trial of the cause based upon the current discovery sanctions order or until further order of the Court.

Additionally, the Court requests a response from the parties to the proceeding. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.8(b). Any response shall be filed with the Clerk of this Court no later than 14 days from the date of this order.
