MEMORANDUM OPINION

PER CURIAM

William Harris, incarcerated and acting pro se, has filed a petition for writ of mandamus compelling the trial court to rule on his motion for DNA/scientific testing of evidence and appointment of counsel. We deny the petition.

No record was filed with the petition. The underlying case is The State of Texas v. William Harris, cause number 876384 in the 232nd District Court of Harris County, Texas, the Honorable Josh Hill presiding.
