Original Mandamus Proceeding

This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 2017-CI-16203, styled In the Matter of the Marriage of Jennifer Hall and Cynthia Suzanne Hale, In the Interest of S.Z.H., R.A.H., and S.G.H., Children, pending in the 57th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, the Honorable Stephani A. Walsh presiding.

ORDER

Sitting: Patricia O. Alvarez, Justice Luz Elena D. Chapa, Justice Irene Rios, Justice

On October 10, 2017, Relator filed a petition for writ of mandamus. Relator has also filed an emergency motion for stay. This court is of the opinion that a serious question concerning the mandamus relief sought requires further consideration. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.8(b). The respondent and the real party in interest may file a response to the petition for writ of mandamus in this court no later than October 27, 2017. Any such response must conform to Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 52.4.

Relator's request for emergency relief is GRANTED. All proceedings in the underlying case including enforcement of the trial court's September 28, 2017 order are stayed pending final resolution of the petition filed in this court.

It is so ORDERED on October 12, 2017.
