IN THE INTEREST OF H.A.F., F.A.F., AND MT.A.F., CHILDREN
On Appeal from the 468th Judicial District Court Collin County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 468-51752-2020
ORDER
ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE.
Because appellant's brief does not meet the general requirements of Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure 9 and 38, we STRIKE appellant's brief filed on September 25, 2023. We ORDER appellant to file, no later than October 16, 2023, a brief that conforms with rules 9 and 38 including the requirements that it contain (1) an index of authorities arranged alphabetically and indicating the pages of the brief where the authorities are cited; (2) a concise statement of the case, the course of proceedings, and the trial court's disposition of the case supported by record references; (3) appropriate citations to authorities and the record in certain portions of the argument section; and (4) a certificate of service in compliance with the requirements of the rule. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.1. Additionally, neither the brief nor any documents in the appendix should contain sensitive data such as a minor child's name, birth date, or home address. The brief may be redacted by using initials in place of the child's name. See id. 9.9(a),(c).
We caution appellant that failure to comply with this order may result in dismissal of this appeal without further notice. See id. 38.8(a)(1); 42.3 (b),(c).
