IN RE SAMUEL RAITHEL GROSS, Relator

Original Proceeding from the Probate Court No. 2 Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. PR-02216-P2

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Before Chief Justice Burns, Justice Partida-Kipness, and Justice Nowell
Opinion by Justice Nowell

Before the Court is relator's May 8, 2020 petition for writ of mandamus. Generously construed, the petition appears to seek relief related to the distribution of relator's mother's estate.

Relator has failed to comply with the requirements for filing a petition for writ of mandamus and record. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.3, 52.7. Further, entitlement to mandamus relief requires relator to show both that the trial court has clearly abused its discretion and that relator has no adequate appellate remedy. In re Prudential Ins. Co., 148 S.W.3d 124, 135-36 (Tex. 2004) (orig. proceeding). Here, relator has failed to show he is entitled to the relief requested, because he has not identified a ruling for which he seeks mandamus relief. Accordingly, we deny relator's petition for writ of mandamus. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.8(a).
