DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION
Appeals from two orders of the Family Court, Kings County, dated March 1, 2022, and March 9, 2022, respectively. Motion by the appellant to stay enforcement of the order dated March 1, 2022, and, in effect, so much of the order dated March 9, 2022, as placed the subject child in the custody of the petitioner until the next permanency hearing and to direct the child's immediate release to the non-respondent father, pending hearing and determination of the appeals or, in the alternative, for a preference in the calendaring of the appeals.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition and in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to stay enforcement of the order dated March 1, 2022, and, in effect, so much of the order dated March 9, 2022, as placed the subject child in the custody of the petitioner until the next permanency hearing and to direct the child's immediate release to the non-respondent father, pending hearing and determination of the appeals, is denied; and it is further, ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is for a preference in the calendaring of the appeals is denied as unnecessary (see Family Ct Act § 1112).
