On Petition for Writ of Mandamus.
Before Justices Longoria, Silva, and Peña
ORDER
PER CURIAM.
Relators Alicia Gonzalez and Nicole Trebilcock have filed a petition for writ of mandamus and an emergency motion to stay the trial court proceedings in the above-referenced cause number. By petition for writ of mandamus, relators contend that the trial court abused its discretion by granting motions to dismiss filed by the real parties in interest, John Blaha and the Coastal Conservation Association. See Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code Ann. §§ 27.001-011 (codifying the Texas Citizens Participation Act). By emergency motion to stay, relators seek to stay the trial court proceedings pending the resolution of this petition for writ of mandamus.
The Court, having examined and fully considered the emergency motion to stay, is of the opinion that it should be granted. Accordingly, we grant the emergency motion to stay, and we order the underlying proceedings to be stayed pending the resolution of this matter or further order of this Court. See Tex. R. App. P. 52.10(b) ("Unless vacated or modified, an order granting temporary relief is effective until the case is finally decided."). We request the real parties in interest, or any others whose interest would be directly affected by the relief sought, to file a response to the petition for writ of mandamus on or before the expiration of ten days from the date of this order. See id. R. 52.2, 52.4, 52.8.
