IN RE LEE MONGERSON GILLEY, Relator

ORIGINAL PROCEEDING WRIT OF MANDAMUS Probate Court No. 5 Harris County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 530919-401.

Panel consists of Chief Justice Christopher and Justices Wise and Wilson.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

PER CURIAM

On December 13, 2024, relator Lee Mongerson Gilley filed a petition for writ of mandamus in this Court. See Tex. Gov't Code Ann. § 22.221; see also Tex.R.App.P. 52. In the petition, relator asks this Court to compel the Honorable Fransheneka Watson, presiding judge of the Probate Court No. 5 of Harris County, to vacate the trial court's December 3, 2024 temporary restraining order.

On December 19, 2024, relator filed an unopposed motion to dismiss his mandamus petition, noting that the trial court had granted relator's motion to dissolve the temporary restraining order which renders the relief sought in this proceeding moot.

As such, we grant relator's motion to dismiss and dismiss relator's petition for writ of mandamus as moot.
