MEMORANDUM OPINION
Steven Gilbert filed a petition for writ of mandamus that seeks to prevent the Board of Pardons and Paroles from conducting a parole hearing until the district court conducts the habeas hearing ordered by the Court of Criminal Appeals. See generally Ex parte Cordova, 235 S.W.3d 735, 736 (Tex. Crim. App. 2007) (application for writ of habeas corpus based upon failure to timely provide a preliminary hearing or a final parole hearing). This Court's mandamus jurisdiction does not extend to the Board of Pardons and Paroles. See TEX. GOV'T CODE ANN. § 22.221 (Vernon 2004). The proceedings at issue are purely post-conviction matters that do not implicate the jurisdiction of this Court. Id.; see also Bd. of Pardons Paroles ex. rel. Keene v. Court of Appeals for Eighth Dist., 910 S.W.2d 481, 482-83 (Tex. Crim. App. 1995). Accordingly, we deny the petition for writ of mandamus.
PETITION DENIED.
