June 28, 2006.

Sara F. Greenwood and John D. Jordan of Jordan Quinn, P.C., Boone, for mother.

Thomas J. Miller, Attorney General, Kathrine S. Miller-Todd, Assistant Attorney General, Jim P. Robbins, County Attorney, and Courtney E. Spellman, Assistant County Attorney, for appellee.

Francis Baltimore of Doran, Anderson Baltimore, P.L.C., Boone, for father. Steven Nalean, Boone, guardian ad litem for minor child.

Considered by Mahan, P.J., and Hecht and Eisenhauer, JJ.

A mother appeals from the termination of her parental rights to her two-year-old child. Her only contention is the State failed to make reasonable efforts to reunite her with her child. A challenge to the sufficiency of services should be raised in the course of the child in need of assistance proceedings. In re L.M.W., 518 N.W.2d 804, 807 (Iowa Ct.App. 1994). The mother failed to do so after being informed by the court that failure to identify deficiencies in services could preclude her from raising the issue later. Her petition on appeal also fails to identify what services should have been provided. Therefore, she has not preserved this issue for appeal. Accordingly, we affirm.

AFFIRMED.
