Summary of Misconduct:

Mr. Fitzsimmons, who was licensed in 1998, was censured. While employed as an assistant county state's attorney he directed another assistant state's attorney to dismiss a traffic ticket. He made this request, without authority, as a favor to a friend.


Order of the Court:

The petition by the Administrator of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission to impose discipline on consent pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 762(b) is allowed, and respondent Justin T. Fitzsimmons is censured.
