Original Mandamus Proceeding

This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 2016PA01409, styled In the Interest of I.I.M., a Child, pending in the 150th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, the Honorable Renée Yanta presiding.

ORDER

Sitting: Karen Angelini, Justice Patricia O. Alvarez, Justice Luz Elena D. Chapa, Justice

On October 9, 2017, Respondent filed a Motion to Extend Time to File Response. This court issued an order on October 5, 2017, providing that the respondent and real parties in interest may file responses in this proceeding no later than October 12, 2017. This matter is currently set for trial on October 23, 2017. Due to the short time frame involved in this proceeding, and the urgency of this matter, which involves the termination of parental rights, this court will not grant respondent additional time to file a response. Respondent's motion for extension of time is DENIED.

It is so ORDERED on October 10, 2017.
