CIVIL ACTION NO. H-01-3913 CONSOLIDATED CASES

November 18, 2003

ORDER

Pending before the Court is a letter from counsel for the Northern Trust Company, dated November 14, 2003, which the Court construes as an emergency motion for a short extension of the current November 14, 2002 deadline for the Secretary of Labor to produce certain Northern-Trust-related documents to the document depository. Northern Trust seeks a temporary extension until a proposed protective order already submitted to the Secretary by Northern Trust has been approved by the Secretary. Because the request is for a limited time and shows good cause, the Court

ORDERS that an extension is GRANTED. Pursuant to representations in the letter, the Court shall be presented with a proposed protective order by Northern Trust next week. Once a protective order has been signed by the Court, the Secretary shall promptly submit the withheld documents to the document depository.
