IN THE INTEREST OF E.J.M., A CHILD
On Appeal from the 254th Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. DF-22-12803
ORDER
ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE
By order dated May 17, 2024, we suspended the deadline to file the supplemental reporter's record containing a transcription of the March 21, 2023 hearing so that Court Reporter Quinlyn Busby-Jones could challenge appellant's statement of inability to pay. The trial court conducted the hearing and denied Ms. Busby-Jones's challenge, finding appellant is entitled to proceed without payment of costs. Consequently, we ordered Ms Busby-Jones to file the supplemental reporter's record by July 6, 2024. To date, Ms. Busby-Jones has failed to comply with the Court's order.
This appeal cannot proceed until the issue of the supplemental reporter's record is resolved. Accordingly, we again order Quinlyn Busby-Jones to file the supplemental reporter's record containing the transcription of the March 21, 2023 hearing within TEN DAYS of the date of this order.
We expressly CAUTION Ms. Busby-Jones that failure to comply with this order will result in this Court abating the case for a hearing to determine the status of the supplemental reporter's record and an order that Ms. Busby-Jones not sit as a court reporter until such time as she complies with the Court's orders.
We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to:
