In the Interest of E.J.M., a Child

Trial court: 1313th District Court of Harris County Trial court case number: 2020-01300J

ORDER

JULIE COUNTISS JUDGE

On September 19, 2023, appellant, Donna Valverde, filed a notice of appeal in trial court cause number 2020-01300J. Because the trial court signed a final decree for termination on June 23, 2021 in trial court cause number 2020-01300J, on October 3, 2023, the Clerk of this Court notified appellant that the Court may dismiss her appeal for lack of jurisdiction, unless appellant filed a written response that demonstrated with citation to the record, statutes, rules, and case law that the Court has jurisdiction over her appeal. On October 16, 2023, appellant filed a response to the notice letter.

The Court requests from appellee, the Department of Family and Protective Services, a letter response to appellant's October 16, 2023 letter regarding jurisdiction. The letter response must be filed no later than 14 days from the date of this order.

It is so ORDERED.
