A document in the appendix to the State's December 6, 2023 brief contains the name and birth date of a minor child. Because the brief is in violation of rule 9.9 of the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure, we STRIKE the State's December 6, 2023 brief. See Tex. R. App. P. 9.9.
We ORDER the State to file, by February 1, 2024, an amended brief redacting the sensitive information contained in the appendix. The case will remain at issue and will be set for submission in due course. Failure to file an amended State's brief will result in the case being submitted on appellant's brief alone.
