Appellee's brief originally was due on December 16, 2024. Neither the brief nor a motion for extension of time has been filed. We therefore ORDER appellee to file the brief or a motion for extension of time to file the brief compliant with the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure and provide a sufficient explanation for the failure to timely file the same no later than January 6, 2025. If appellee fails to comply with this order, the case will be submitted without benefit of an appellee's brief.
