Summary of Misconduct:

Mr. Dotson, who was licensed in 1964, was suspended for one year. He made inappropriate sexual advances to a client's girlfriend who came to his office to pick up some documents and, on two other occasions, to women who visited his office to consult about legal matters. The discipline is effective upon the conclusion of a current suspension for unrelated misconduct, April 8, 2006.


Order of the Court:

The petitions by respondent Lewis Stanton Dotson and the Administrator of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission for leave to file exceptions to the report and recommendation of the Review Board are allowed.

Respondent is suspended from the practice of law for one year, effective upon conclusion of respondent's current suspension, April 8, 2006.

Respondent Lewis Stanton Dotson shall reimburse the Disciplinary Fund for any Client Protection payments arising from his conduct prior to the termination of the period of suspension.
