IN RE FERRY ANN DODSON, Relator

Original Proceeding from the 15th Judicial District Court Grayson County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. FA-18-1670

Before Justices Molberg, Reichek, and Smith

MEMORANDUM OPINION

KEN MOLBERG, JUSTICE

In this original proceeding, relator asks this Court for a writ of mandamus compelling the trial court to vacate its temporary order changing the conservator with the exclusive right to determine the child's primary residence. Entitlement to mandamus relief requires relator to show that the trial court clearly abused its discretion and that he lacks an adequate appellate remedy. In re Prudential Ins. Co., 148 S.W.3d 124, 135-36 (Tex. 2004) (orig. proceeding).

Based on our review of the petition and the record, we conclude that relator has failed to show an abuse of discretion. Accordingly, we deny the petition for writ 1 of mandamus. Having denied the petition, we also deny the motion for emergency stay as moot. 2
